Rerun: Bloom where you’re planted

We’re on a winter break, so we’re bringing you a few of our older faves while we spend some time getting ready for the new year! We hope you’re enjoying your holidays and that you’ll tune in for new episodes in January 2020!

Ever wonder what house plants have to do with staying present and enjoying the “now,” while also looking to the future? Well, we didn’t. But we got there anyway. Right after a talk about how women, and especially female creatives, are coming into their own and refusing to let their work be controlled without their consent.

That’s really good advice on my part.

If you’ve been awake at any time in the last few years, then you know that burnout is a very real thing. But what does burnout specifically look like for women? We have some thoughts, and some of us may be realizing that it’s time to take further steps in getting a hold of our mental health. We hope you feel seen in this episode, and would love to know how you feel about burnout.

And of course, we’re hitting on some hot topics in the world of women!

Where can I find the article that started this conversation?

R.I.P. to my hopes and dreams

Today we’re hitting on a couple of heavy topics before we talk about the Met Gala (we’re only over a week late), Kim K in Charlotte, and what we’ve been watching on TV (good AND bad. Looking at you, GoT.)

It sounded like a good idea to get your thoughts on things that weigh heavily on women, specifically, and you delivered! We’re bringing up some listener input today and we hope you feel seen, heard, and get a few laughs in along the way.

Ahh I don’t want Game of Thrones spoilers!
No worries! Just skip from around 25 minutes until 37 minutes. But come back later and listen in!

I’m Breezy!

Whip out the wine glasses, people, it’s been a day! We’re breaking down the reasons why women can be so freaking tired at the end of the day and why we can feel so unseen as well. Ever sat down and thought “this is the first time I’ve been off my feet in 12 hours!” Cry into your wine and settle in with your fashion sweatshirts as we talk about it together. We see you friend! Weigh in on this episode over on Instagram @agoodideapod and let us know your take.
